- obtain unusual experience → self-satisfation
- develop science field
- job opportunities → economy ↑
negative
- tremendous cost to develop
- expensive to travel → poorer can't do : not for all people → better to spend the money on other parts
- different conditions → can cause health problem & bring virous or illness
